Midwest Performance Equine is equipped to perform a variety of equine surgeries. In the photo at left, Dr. Houtsma repairs a large laceration on the shoulder of a young horse. Other procedures commonly carried out are entropion surgery, deep digital flexor tenotomy (pictured below), castrations (including cryptorchid castration) and eye enucleation, just to name a few.
