Performance Equine partners with Bill Terry, an American Farrier's
Association Certified Farrier, to provide comprehensive Podiatry and
Lameness services. Bill has apprenticed under Jerry Matthews and Robert
McClaren, both Certified Journeyman Farrier's. He has been offering
farrier services for 8 years and recently has been available
to see horses in clinic at Midwest Performance Equine. Working in
conjunction, Bill and Dr. Houtsma can consult with you to tailor make
a plan for your horse. Bill does both routine shoeing and trimming,
as well as working on horses with such conditions as chronic laminitis
(founder) and navicular syndrome.
